Lime Crime Lipstick Review Airbourne Unicorn and Geradium

I have always loved the look of Lime Crime Cosmetics, but until a few weeks ago had never tried there stuff since in the UK you have to order online and I rarely buy make-up which I haven't tested against my skin and seen the results in person. But for these I'd gladly make the exception! First of all the packaging has to be the cutest and most attractive packaging I've ever seen, it has a sleek plastic design and a holographic unicorn, which I adore.

These two lipsticks came to £12.50 each from CocktailCosmetics a UK supplier of Lime Crime, it arrived rather quickly and they came in perfect condition. I know to some people that may seem like a lot of money, but for the colour pay off and pure quality of the product it is worth it, as well as that it is a vegan, cruelty-free product. Both of these colours look and smell amazing and lived up to my expectations.

Lime Crimes official website describes Geradium as 'Coral-pink that is so intense, it might just be radioactive.' The description fits this lipstick to a T, it is such a bright coral based pink it is very highly pigmented. It goes on very smoothly and is very hydrating for the lips, I did exfoliate my lips before applying but it did not grip to the drier areas or set into lines as many highly pigmented lipsticks do. It stays on all day and there is no need for lip liner it has perfect colour pay off on its own.

Airbourne Unicorn is described as 'Medium purple with a neon note. Hue as mysterious as the animal itself...'. This lipstick is a beautiful colour with blue undertones, it is a bit of a wilder shade and some people may not feel comfortable wearing it but I love this colour. It also makes your teeth appear whiter due to the blue, cool tones.

These two lipsticks are my new favourites and are perfect for the summer time, their only down fall is some slight staining it leaves on the lips but other than that they are well worth the money. Just be prepared some shades can be a bit 'in your face' but don't be scared to try and wear them!
