Recently I have been looking for a light weight foundation for summer, but BB creams just did not provide the coverage I wanted. This foundation is very light weight and creates a very effortless dewy skin finish but can still provide good coverage as well and can be built up if you are looking for a medium coverage. However due to its dewy finish people with oily skin may just want to avoid it as in some cases it can over power the skin and cause break outs. The texture of the foundation is light and very thin, it is a very liquid foundation and a little goes a long way. It is easy to remove using cleanser or make-up wipes. I have been using this for a week now and I haven't suffered any breakouts from this, though I do have dry skin and breakouts are rare but can be cause by very oily products.
I am very fair skinned and struggle to find drugstore foundations that match my skin tone and don't have overly orange tones in, but this foundation truly is a perfect match for my skin. I use the shade '010 Light Porcelain' which is the lightest in the range and it compliments my skin tone without making me look washed out like some pale foundations do.
Overall this foundation is ideal for summer it is easy to apply, personal I use the Real Techniques 'expert face brush', it provides moderate coverage and gives me my perfect summer glow. At £6.99 RRP this product is very affordable and is available in a wide range of shades. It also has 18SPF so does give protection in the sun and lasts for hours.
